Special Report on Taxi Industry in Austin Texas

The taxi industry internationally is basically the same.  It is setup to avoid  labor laws and avoid unionism using  the big lie of being independent, free, with the ability to make as much as you want.  So I love those whom expose this industry for what it is.  Here is a special report from Austin Texas hot off the press.

Taxi Workers Alliance on Trial

http://www.metro.us/us/article/2010/04/23/01/2204-85/index.xml   When the President of the Taxi Workers Alliance of PA was found not guily on all counts in a criminal trial, it wasn't over.  The Taxi and Limo Division of the Philadelphia Parking Authority refused to meet with him, and the organizing commitee, thus, refused to meet with them without Ron Blount.  Imagine Jim Ney, as the King of England, before  the war of independence, "We'll try him in our courts".

Bad Journalism: Daily News claims Philly wheelchair users lament no taxis

DAN GERINGER's article in today's Daily News is a case of bad journalism. Geringer doesn't explain the merits of HB 1914 and how in its entirety, the bill is connected and allied with a cause greater than one alone, that both communities (people with disabilities and taxi drivers) suffer because the few are making big bucks by exploiting the many.
